Soon the leaves will be changing and the air will be cooler. It is the perfect time for a campout! Join us at Gee Creek for a Mother/Daughter Campout. We will meet in Group Site 8 and check-in will begin at 4pm Friday October 18th. This program is $10 per person and spots are limited. Dinner for Friday night and breakfast for Saturday morning will be provided by the park. Be sure and bring your camping gear. If you need to borrow gear, please e-mail Ranger Roberts at Gillian.Roberts@tn.gov. This will be a Ranger-led event.
Schedule:
Friday October 18th
4:00 pm- Check-in and group building games
6:00 pm- Dinner
8:00 pm- Night Hike/Campfire Stories
Saturday October 19th
8:00 am- 9:00 am- Breakfast
9:00 am- 10:00 am- Breakdown and checkout
11:00 am- 2:00 pm- Ranger-led hike on the John Muir Trail (pack a lunch)
