2/18-3/18 Educational Sessions for Livestock Producers UT TSU Extension Polk County

UT TSU Extension Polk County will conduct a set of educational sessions for Livestock Producers. The sessions are set for Tuesday February 18th and Tuesday March 18th from 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM. Both sessions will be held at Honey and Clove Bistro located at 108 Lifestyle Way in Benton. The topic for session one will be Bull Selection and Management presented by UT Extension Beef Cattle Specialist Dr. Saulo Zoca. The topic for session two will be Forage Nutrition and will be presented by UT Extension Beef specialist Dr. Katie Mason. Reproduction and Nutrition are important management decisions that livestock producers face in their operation. The presenters will provide producers firsthand researched based information during these sessions. This Extension sessions are offered to anyone interested in livestock production. A meal will be served during each session thanks to sponsorship from Southeastern COOP. It is asked that attendees register by calling the Extension Office at 423-338-4503 or email rgpaxton@utk.edu.
