A magnitude 2.2 earthquake rumbled folks in Polk County, Tennessee, a few miles southwest of the city of Benton late Thursday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The quake struck at 10:15 p.m. Thursday and was about 11 miles deep, the USGS reported. The epicenter was initially located a little south of Sloans Gap Road and west of Parksville Lake and the Ocoee River.
