You may be that person who never stops Gardening or maybe you never had a green thumb but always wanted one. The UT TSU Extension office has a monthly program for both seasoned and beginner gardeners. The UT/TSU Extension Garden Club meets monthly. To kick off the 2025 Garden season the first meeting will be on the first Tuesday in March which is March 4th. The meeting will be held at the Oak Grove Baptist Church located at 642 Oak Grove Road Benton TN 37307 starting at 5:00 PM Future meeting locations and times may vary. This program is for all gardeners, those folks who need a little help to those seasoned gardeners who would like to spend time with folks that have the same true love of getting their hands dirty. The March educational topic will include information on the UT Garden Variety Trails and Small Fruit Pruning for Homeowners. Monthly educational sessions will include topics on Gardening, Raised Bed Gardening, fruit production, flowers, and other garden topics. Attendance is open to everyone without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, disability, religion, veteran status or other legally protected categories.
