ATTENTION – All those traveling Hwy. 30 between Hwy. 411 in the Delano area to Hwy. 64 at Parksville Lake
Tennessee Valley Authority will be conducting a litter clean-up Tuesday, March 8, in conjunction with the Polk County Chamber of Commerce, Hiwassee/Ocoee State Park, Polk County Sheriff’s Office, Nobody Trashes Polk County, and Tennessee Department of Transportation. Plans are to begin from Hwy. 64 and work toward Hwy. 411.
Travelers of Hwy. 30 are encouraged to anticipate reduced travel times between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. There will be flashing signs indicating reduced speeds for litter pick-up, as well as State Park vehicles to assist with traffic control.
