4/30 Polk Parks Community Project Raffle Items Donation Deadline

Tim Woody of AMVETS Post 911 and Sophia Lancto of the Bakery on Main are reaching out to local businesses in hopes of gaining support for a community project.
Our mission is to raise funds to aid in the enhancement/repairs/renovations of our county parks and playgrounds. We believe there is a specific need to add additional equipment to accommodate the number of children who utilize the park located at Frank Hammons Memorial Park in Benton and at the Community Center in Ducktown. As our community grows, so must the amenities that we have to offer the children of Polk County. The Parks and Rec department is not a county funded department, and works only from donations and grants.
We are asking our local businesses to consider making a donation in either a monetary form or a gift/service donation to be raffled off to the general public. ALL proceeds will go directly to the Parks and Rec department.
We thank you for any and all support in helping make Polk County better for the children of our community. Feel free to contact myself, Tim Woody at twoody488@gmail.com or Sophia Lancto at solynn417@gmail.com.
