We are learning about animals all summer during our Summer Reading Program, TAILS AND TALES!
Ms. Amanda’s storytime this week included a book called Madeline Finn and the Shelter Dog by Lisa Papp. We learned that one good way to get a pet is by adopting from a shelter.
Our local shelter is S.H.A.R.P…they help to find homes for unwanted pets and assist owners with spay and neuter fees.
We would like to help this charitable group by collecting pet supplies at our libraries.
You can drop off food, toys, and other supplies at either of our branches before July 31. See the flyer for suggested donations.
