UT TSU Extension Polk County will conduct a Forage Field Day, Monday September 16th beginning at 4:00 PM at the Barry and Kim Queen farm located at 7597 Bates Pike Old Fort TN. Highlights of the field day will be Forage Weed Control using a Weed Wiper, Forage Sampling and Testing, NRCS Program Update, Fence Line Feeder Systems, TAEP Update, and a presentation by UT Forage Specialist Dr. Bruno Pedreira. Make plans to attend now. We do ask to register by calling the Extension Office at 338-4503 so we can get a head count for the meal.
