11/25 Day After Thanksgiving Hike Hiwassee/Ocoee State Park

Opt out of the black Friday shopping and enjoy some time in the great outdoors. Join us at Hiwassee/Ocoee Scenic Rivers State Park for a Hike through History. The area in which our park is located is rich with history and culture. Along our hike we will discuss the importance of the Cherokee in this area along with the establishment of the town of Austral. This hike will be a moderate 2 mile hike along our loop trail and also some off trail hiking. Please wear sturdy hiking shoes and bring along some water. Pets must be on a leash if you wish to bring them. We will meet at the park office.
