On Saturday, October 11th, there will be a free Veterans Breakfast at the Polk County Courthouse, in the big courtroom. The United Veterans Counsel of East TN “Free Veterans Breakfast Program”, has teamed up with the Bradley County Daughters of the American Revolution to provide this service. We course will be helping out as well. This event will happen on the second Saturday of every month. Coffee starts at 8:00am, and breakfast prepared by Food City will be served starting at 8:30am. There will also be door prizes, and a new speaker every month. Did I mention this is all FREE! Sponsors are needed as well for these events as the cost is $400 per month. If you are a Veteran and can’t drive, your driver can come eat as well, whether that’s your spouse, neighbor, child, or friend. Stay turned for the official press release!
