Polk’s own Hiwassee River State Park will be hosting a First day Hike this year. Participants will
meet at the park office on January 1st at 10 am with the hike lasting about 2 hours.

Joe at 10:00AM for introductions, then head up river to the John Muir trail-
head for a hike along the Hiwassee River.
