Fall is here and many are already planting their fall vegetable gardens. Fall temperatures are perfect for vegetables such as leafy greens, cabbage and broccoli. However Fall Gardening can be more difficult than spring gardening. To help you have a successful fall gardening experience the UT –TSU Extension office in Polk County will be presenting a Fall Gardening Seminar on Monday September 27th at 6:00 PM. The two hour class will include fall gardening techniques, variety selection, and planning along with what to do at the end of the gardening season. This class offered by UT-TSU Extension is open and free to the Public. Anyone wishing to attend the seminar is ask to register by calling the UT-TSU Extension Office at 423-338-4503 or drop by the Polk County Extension office located at 6042 Hwy. 411 in Benton.
