Polk County school officials are planning summer programs at Chilhowee Middle School, Copper Basin Middle School and PILA. Students in grades 6-7-8 will have the opportunity to prepare for the next grade and get a jump-start on what their teachers will expect next school year. The Summer Bridge Program for grades 6-7-8 will begin July 6 and continue through July 30. Activities will begin at 8:00 and continue to 2:00 each week day. The Summer Bridge program is FREE.
