11/27 After Thanksgiving Day Hike (Registration Required) Hiwassee/Ocoee State Park

Join us at Hiwassee/Ocoee Rivers State Park for our After Thanksgiving Day Hike. On this hike, we will be taking a trek to “The Narrows” on the Hiwassee River. This trail is considered moderate and will be 4 miles in distance round trip. Please wear sturdy hiking shoes and bring along some water and a packed lunch. This trail can become very muddy after rain. We will meet at the park office and everyone will follow a Ranger to the parking lot at the Powerhouse in Reliance. Parking is limited. Along this hike we will discuss the history of the area and the Hiwassee River. Opt out of the Black Friday shopping and spend some time in nature! Spots are limited so reserve yours today.
