2/14 Valentine’s Day Couples Climb Hiwassee Ocoee State Park

Starts at 5:30pm-7:30 p.m.

Have you been struck with one of Cupid’s arrow’s? That crafty flying baby has been known to cause a lot of love around these parts of the mountains. Couples are invited to come celebrate your relationship with us this Valentine’s Day while we climb our nearby bluff.
If so, come celebrate with us in the great outdoors at a nearby romantic hot spot for sunsets. We will meet at our Gee Creek Office and then carpool to our destination (1 mile away). We will then climb and hike up a steep and strenuous incline (approx. 800 feet). At the summit, we will hopefully enjoy a beautiful sunset. At this location, Ranger Jeremy will provide hot chocolate, a photo opportunity, and he share ancient wisdom for making relationships successful.
This is a couple’s only event. Only one registration per couple is needed.
Items to bring: Sturdy trail shoes, flashlight, appropriate cold weather clothes.
Note: Event may become cancelled pending weather.
DISCLAIMER: This is a rough and strenuous climb straight up the side of Chestnut Mountain. You will need to make this climb without assistance. You must be in good physical condition or you will be asked not to participate.
