FISH CAMP is back
Free, no cover, just good river people.
Tuesday, August 18th, we’re teaming up with Trout Unlimited for an evening built for anyone who loves this river (or wants to).
Here’s the lineup:
4:00–6:00 PM – Casting practice. Bring your rod, and we’ll help you tighten up your cast; no judgment if you’ve never picked one up before.
The last 20 minutes or so, Charlie Sitzberger will give you tips on Accidental Fly HooPractk Removal (Yes, this is the one where you learn what to do when a hook ends up somewhere it shouldn’t!).
6:00–8:00 PM – Presentations:
• Rob Prytula & Max Worthy (Trout Unlimited) on TU’s mission, their local chapters, and how to get involved
• Fly Raffle to close out the night – bring a fly you tied to enter. For each fly you bring, you will receive a raffle ticket and a chance to win ALL the flies!
It’s 100% free, no cover charge, and the deli’s open late if you want to grab dinner before the presentations start – no cooking required tonight!
Come practice your cast, meet the TU crew, and walk away with a new fly for your box.
