Join us and the Ragan-Smith team of Nashville to share your input on improvements, ideas, enhancements for our Polk County parks and recreation resources, as well as receive an update on the planning process. The Chamber of Commerce has contracted with them to develop a Master Plan for Polk County parks & rec. Having this Master Plan will ensure Polk County meets the REQUIRED criteria to apply for and receive state and federal parks and rec grant funds. At this time, the County does NOT meet that criteria. The last state parks & rec grant received in Polk County was 1979. Let’s change that together!
