American Veterans (AMVETS) Post 911, and Cub Scout Pack 3411 are holding a POW/MIA and Flag retirement ceremony on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at 6:00 PM at Gee Creek Amphitheater. There are 14 Prisoners of War or Missing in Action military personnel from Polk County who will be remembered at the ceremony followed by the retirement of US Flags by the Post and Cub Scout Pack.
