Polk County Sheriff’s Office is accepting applications for male and female corrections officers. Applicants must have a valid drivers license, be at least 18 years old, no criminal history and have a high school diploma or equivalent. The Sheriff’s Office is also accepting applications for a Deputy Sheriff, applicants must be POST Certified and graduate of Police Academy. All applications must be picked up and returned to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office Monday thru Friday 830am-430pm.
